A1. well, this enlightenment epplet shows your current DefCon
(remember WarGames?) according to your current system load.

A. get the current version by ftp: DefCon-0.4.tgz or http: DefCon-0.4.tgz
Q. are there any notes i should know?
A. yes...
- i use absoluteE, so i don't know how it looks with other themes.
(i have switched, just to see, and i think it looks best with
absoluteE, just a warning)
- if you run defcon.epplet from the source directory you won't get
anything but a box. why you say? it's because the path of
the number images is hardcoded by "EROOT NUMS". if you
don't do a "make install", the number images won't get
installed, and the epplet won't be able to find anything
when it starts up. if you want to change this, you'll
have to play with the number defines in defcon.c.
- if you do a make install, and get nothing but a box, make sure
that "EROOT" in epplet.h and the INST defines in the
makefile are actually pointing to the same spot.

in the tar file above. (save e and the epplet stuff...)

i would like to mention jed, whose put virtually all of the work into the
upgrades in the last couple of versions. really, i just have the passwd
to update the project on freshmeat, and that's about it. :)
